New shop project

I sold the Black and Blue Bobber and picked up a '76 CB550 as a new project.
I've always wanted a cafe racer, so this will be the platform to fulfill that.
I've since torn it all down to the frame and am awaiting some bits to get going on the modifications. More to come...

So this is where I'm at so far. I have the new rear frame on, and the mono shock work done. I also got the new front end mounted. The tank on the bike isn't what I'm going to use, it's just there for some reference.
I did add a slight kick up in the rear of the frame.
Overall I think this is coming along very nicely.

The rendered pic is my idea of a finished product. It was done by the Wilkinson Bros. Sure helps my vision along.

CB400 cafe tail

Here is the nearly finished CB400 tail section from the previous post. Minor touches left to do in these pictures. Since then, I have finished it and delivered it to the owner. He will be having everything painted and looking awesome in no time I'm sure. Can't wait to post pics of it on here when it's finished.

Long time, no post

It's been a while since I've posted. Since then, I've moved to a new house and made a new shop in my new garage. I've down sized a bit, but it's working out ok. There are plans for a new shop space in the coming year, but we'll see how that goes.
Right now I'm working on another CB350 project. It's the same owner as the previous CB project. Going to do another aluminum tail section for it.
This time, the battery is mounted inside the tail. Other electrics are under the gas tank. The taillight will be mounted in the rear of the tail as done previously.

My bike...updates

Some new pics of my bike. I got an absolutely stunning paint job done by Elite Kustoms of Deland, FL. I will personally recommend anyone to John and Darrell. John specializez in Kandy paint jobs and Darrell does some sick stripping. I can't say enough about my experience with these two guys. Communication was great and the work is just exceptional. Not a single flaw to be had!
I've gotten the bike all back together and have ridden it about 10 miles total and have had no issues. I'm waiting to get the title work done and be legal...then burn the miles!

BMW cafe work...R75/6

Here is my newest project. It's one of the Wilinson Bros. bikes. It started life as a normal stock BMW, but the owner wanted something more. So he mocked up his ideas with 1/4" round bar and I'm doing the rest. Should be very cool when it's done. More to come....

Some logo goodness

Here are a couple pics of my new decal design. These are on a friend's bike. These were done by the Wilkinson Brothers. They are graphic and webpage designers in Indy. www.wilkinsonbros.com
They do some sick work, check them out!

Other two-wheeled projects

Here are some pics of some bicycles and a mini-chopper I made. These are really fun to build. People seem to get a kick out of them.
